I’m not happy with my dessert recipes, Trump administration officials said.
In a tweet on Wednesday, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said that she wasn’t “happy with my recipes” for breakfast.
I’m not going to make dessert, I’m going to get a little bit of work done, Sanders tweeted.
The tweets followed a flurry of news reports about the president’s breakfast habits, including the fact that he often eats out for dinner instead of eating at his hotel.
Trump is reportedly the only person in the White House to go out for breakfast on a daily basis.
“We are not happy that he’s going to eat at his home for breakfast, which is an extremely wasteful way to spend time,” Sanders told reporters.
“It’s an extremely inefficient way to make sure that the president has a very healthy and nutritious breakfast,” she added.
“I think he’s got a very big responsibility here.”
Sanders said that while she’s not happy about her breakfast, she “wouldn’t be surprised” if the president would eat out more often in the future.
“The American people would be very happy if the White Houses staff were to eat out,” she said.
The White House has been criticized for not giving the president enough time to make dinner, which has been a major problem.
Sanders said she thinks that the WhiteHouse has to give the president “more of a choice” about when he wants to eat, rather than making it so he “needs to come to work and then he has to go and have a dinner.”
“If we were able to give him more of a say over when he has a dinner, I think he’d be happy,” Sanders said.
